Sailing

Our Pennsylvania Sailing Program is located on Lake Naomi, one of the largest private lakes in Pennsylvania. Powerboats are prohibited, thus preserving the quiet waters for canoeing, kayaking, rowing, windsurfing, paddle boarding, and of course, sailing.
As a Sailing Community, instructional and competitive sailing programs are offered throughout the summer. Every weekend, races and regattas decorate the lake with colorful sails. The Sailing Association plans special family activities and events for sailors of every age.

RC Sailing Fleet #9

RC (radio control) Sailing also has a place at the Lake Naomi Club. The RC Laser is patterned after the original Laser: simple, easy to sail, and fast! During the summer season, there are races held off the shore at the Administrative Office. During the winter months, the fleet moves indoors and races at the indoor pool in the Community Center where large fans simulate the wind.
